LEGO Lord of the Rings is the most recent game to become part of the Midweek Madness initiative on the Steam digital distribution service, which means that players can get the game with a 50 percent price cut for just 14.99 dollars or Euro.

The offer ends at 4 PM Pacific Time on Thursday.

The official description says the game “follows the original story-lines of The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers, and The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King, taking players through the epic story events re-imagined with the humor and endless variety of LEGO play.”

TT Games and Warner Bros. have managed a truly impressive feat in rendering the whole world of the Tolkien-inspired movies using nothing but LEGO bricks, allowing gamers to destroy their enemies, create new items and explore the adventures of the Fellowship in entirely new ways.
