Little Orbit announced that Kung Fu Panda: Showdown of Legendary Legends would be released this autumn on PC and consoles.

The title is a new fighting game based on the world-famous martial arts animated movie series, and will focus on the first two installments in the franchise, giving fans something to do until the third movie drops at the beginning of 2016.

The video game is being developed by Vicious Cycle, known for having worked on some other popular franchises, and the cartoonish brawler will challenge players to take part in an epic tournament featuring 20 playable characters from the films.

The developer also plans to add new content from the upcoming Kung Fu Panda 3 after the film is released.

Kung Fu Panda: Showdown of Legendary Legends will feature plenty of action, including local and online Versus multiplayer, Team Play, Tag-Team, and a bunch of other modes.

For the time being, there is no information on how the game looks and plays, as Vicious Cycle has not yet published any screenshots, but more is bound to come soon.

Kung Fu Panda: Showdown of Legendary Legends is coming out this fall, headed to PC, to the Wii U and 3DS gaming devices from Nintendo, to the Xbox 360 and Xbox One home entertainment systems from Microsoft, and to the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 home consoles from Sony.
