Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, the impressive action role playing game published by Electronic Arts and co-developed by 38 Studios and Big Huge Games, has sold an impressive 330,000 copies last month, according to data from the NPD for the U.S. region.

Reckoning was one of the first big games of the year but, seeing as how it's a whole new intellectual property, many people weren't aware of its existence.

Still, as we saw last week, the NPD sales charts for the U.S. in the month of February placed the RPG on the fourth place overall. According to Joystiq, the title managed to sell a total of 330,000 retail copies across the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 platforms.

This is quite impressive and the final sales figures are bound to be even higher, as NPD data only covers retail sales in the U.S.

Expect to hear some official sales data from Electronic Arts soon.
