Square Enix has released a brand-new interactive trailer for Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX, comparing the old, SD quality of the graphics with the spruced-up new HD remastered visuals.

The interactive video allows you to switch between the SD and HD versions of the visuals by using the buttons at the top left and right of the window.

Although the difference is not exactly striking, it's definitely noticeable as far as lighting, textures and overall smoothness are concerned, the colors popping out a bit more than the washed-up originals, and the image looking a bit more crisp.

In addition to this, the remastered version is also full of surprising new details, alternate models, and other such small touches. Although the graphics are not quite next-gen quality, the remakes do breathe a bit more life into the classic titles.

If Square Enix made the Final Fantasy X remastered editions lose some of the vibrant colors that the originals had, it seems that they definitely listened to their fans' feedback this time around.

Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX will come out on October 2 in Japan, December 2 in North America, and December 5 in Europe, exclusively for Sony's PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system.
