Christofer Sundberg, the chief creative officer working at the studio responsible for the Just Cause series, says that his team is currently involved with both current and with next-generation consoles but cannot offer any real details about their work.

He tells Edge that “We are developing for both current and next-gen, but the earliest we’ll be able to talk about it and go into any detail is after the games we are working on are announced.”

The statement might mean that that Avalanche is involved in a collaboration with either Sony or Microsoft, who are controlling all information that’s linked to the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox 720.

Apparently, the studio is also creating its own technology, with an announcement set to come later during the year.

The Just Cause developer recently revealed that it could have worked on a Star Wars open world title.
