Robin Hunicke, the executive producer who worked on Journey, says that the much praised video game will most probably not get a sequel because the experience that it offers is complete.

The developer tells IGN that “I think we all put a lot of heart and soul into Journey, so we’d like to leave it where it is. It’s pretty much perfect the way it is, we don’t want to mess with that so I would imagine there would be no Journey 2.”

The game was launched via the PlayStation Network and quickly became a critical hit.

It also set the record for the best sold video game on the service.

Developer thatgamecompany almost went bankrupt while creating Journey, and leader Jenova Chen had previously suggested that he was seeking backing for an entirely new game universe.
