The Nintendo 3DS might continue to be the best-selling hardware device on the Japanese market, but the software chart is now lead by Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme Vs. Full Boost, which has also managed to improve sales for the PlayStation 3.

The Nintendo handheld managed to move 37,462 units to gamers during the week that ended on February 2, which is a small decline when compared to the previously tracked period.

The PlayStation Vita is in second place, with 22,246 in sales, while the PlayStation 3 is the only device to post an increase in its own numbers in order to reach 14,100 coming from 13,360, according to Media Create as quoted by NeoGAF.

The Wii U continues to lose sales slowly but surely.

Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme Vs. Full Boost has delivered 269,940 copies to gamers during its first week on sales and the rest of the top ten includes: Diablo III, Kirby Triple Deluxe, Disgaea 4 Return, Sengoku Basara 4, Yo-kai Watch, Puzzle & Dragons Z, Toushin Toshi, Amagami and Pokemon X / Y.
