The 3DS handheld is spending another week at the top of the Japanese hardware sales chart, having managed to deliver 35,292 devices to its fans in the country during the week that ended on February 2, which is a solid performance but marks a decline both when compared to the previous seven-day period and the same period of last year.

The PlayStation 4 is going in the other direction and secures second place with sales of 18,758, a slight increase over the last week of January.

The PlayStation Vita is seeing its own fortunes decline, with sales of just over 10,000 for the week, according to data from Media Create quoted by NeoGAF, and Sony probably needs to link it more to the PS4 in order to increase the number of devices delivered to gamers.

The Nintendo-made Wii U is a little over the PS3, and the Xbox One has also slightly increased its own sales to 238.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse leads when it comes to video game sales, with 44,221 copies of the PlayStation 3 version moved to fans.

The rest of the top ten includes: Dragon Ball: Xenoverse on the PS4, Yo-kai Watch 2: Shin Uchi, Lost Heroes 2, Pokemon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire, Far Cry 4, Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, PhotoKano Kiss, Devil Survivor 2: Break Record, and Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS.
