Klei Entertainment has announced that the turn-based tactical espionage thriller Invisibile Inc. will depart from the clutches of Steam Early Access and will be available in all its glory on May 12.

The company has also unveiled the game's launch trailer, setting the scene for the upcoming adventure, showing some of the things players will be doing during their missions.

Invisible Inc. looks like it borrows heavily from Firaxis' X-COM and Harebrained Schemes' Shadowrun Returns, featuring a colorful and very stylish visual style, and a host of interesting gameplay mechanics.

Players assume control of a handful of field agents and are tasked with infiltrating some of the world's most dangerous corporations.

The makers of the acclaimed action platformer Mark of the Ninja and the top-down roguelike survival game Don't Starve definitely seem to have another hit on their hands, having a slew of positive reviews on Steam so far.

The most lauded aspects of the game are the unique art style and the intriguing and fun mechanics, including involved decision making, hacking, and a lot of stealth.

Invisible Inc. is coming out on May 12, headed to Windows PC, Mac OS X and Linux.

Furthermore, the company has revealed that the title will make its console debut on the PlayStation 4 entertainment system from Sony sometime later this year.
