Injustice: Gods Among Us is the title that finally managed to take the number one position in the United Kingdom video game chart away from BioShock Infinite, during its first week on sale.

Injustice is a fighting game fuelled by superheroes and which combines a Story mode with a wide cast of characters, interesting challenges and solid multiplayer.

BioShock Infinite is in second place for the week that ended on April 20, showing that Columbia, Booker and Elizabeth can still appeal to gamers.

Fire Emblem: Awakening, from Nintendo, is a new entry that captured the last place on the podium.

Tomb Raider has seen a bigger slide and has gone from second to fourth, while Defiance, the MMO from Trion Worlds, has also dropped one place to reach fifth.

The rest of the top ten includes:

FIFA 123 Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 Luigi’s Mansion 2 Tiger Woods PGA Tour 14 Far Cry 3
