Robert Bowling, the creative strategy at Infinity Ward, the studio responsible for Activision’s hit Call of Duty series, has just announced his resignation on Twitter, saying that, effective immediately, he’ll no longer work for the studio or Activision as a whole.

Infinity Ward was one of the biggest studios a few years ago, producing hit after hit with the Call of Duty series. Unfortunately, a scandal between its management and its owner, Activision, that took place after the launch of Modern Warfare 2, saw lots of people resign and form a new group, called Respawn Entertainment, which is working with Electronic Arts on an upcoming game.

Now, after the launch of Modern Warfare 3, Infinity Ward’s creative strategist, Robert Bowling, has also announced his resignation on Twitter, saying that he’ll no longer work for the studio or Activision.

His future plans aren’t known just yet, but you can be sure that more details will be announced in the near future.

As of yet, it’s unclear if Bowling will join his former colleagues at Respawn at some point in time.
