The teams at Omega Force and Team Ninja, and publisher Tecmo Koei are continuing their marketing efforts for the upcoming Hyrule Warriors by launching a trailer that showcases Zelda as a playable character, with an array of solid combat moves and powers.

The team has chosen to portray the female lead of the series not as a demure princess who is under attack by a powerful evil force and needs Link and his companions to save her, but as a powerful warrior who can hold her own in combat, a Queen that can smite evil around her.

The cast of playable characters for Hyrule Warriors will include around ten entries and a Famitsu article has recently confirmed that Agitha is supposed to be one of them, although she has not yet received an official trailer from Tecmo Koei.

The new title will mix familiar Nintendo characters from The Legend of Zelda with the core game mechanics of Dynasty Warriors and will tell an all-new story based on an evil witch that was supposed to protect the Triforce but has instead turned against Link.

Hyrule Warriors will be out in the middle of August in Japan, on September 19 in Europe and seven days later in the United States.
