Nexon has announced that it will publish Human Element, the open-world first-person survival game developed by Robotoki Inc., worldwide.

The game was developed on CryEngine and is the first game lead by Robert Bowling after his departure from Infinity Ward in 2012, where he had worked as creative strategist on the Call of Duty series.

The game is set 35 years after a zombie apocalypse and combines a varied array of gameplay mechanics like action and resource management in various challenging survival scenarios.

"Their greatest strength is the fear that [zombies] instill in us, the survivors, that unreasonable fear. Unreasonable fear that leads us to do unreasonable things to survive," Bowling tells Game Informer during an interview following the reveal of the game.

The game will allow players to choose between three different character class typologies, action, intelligence and stealth, and then from three different identities, permitting them to tackle survival either alone, with a partner or with a child, and their choice will determine how they engage the scenarios presented to them.

Human Element is scheduled to make its debut in the gaming world in the fourth quarter of 2015, so it's still some time before we get to see if we have what it takes to prevail in its world.
