After lots of leaks and rumors, the Hitman HD Trilogy is now official, as Square Enix has confirmed that it's going to release a special collection that consists of Hitman 2: Silent Assassin, Hitman: Contracts, and Hitman: Blood Money, all remastered in high definition for the PS3 and Xbox 360.

The Hitman franchise has delivered all sorts of impressive experiences over the years, as developer IO Interactive managed to deliver some great stealth titles that relied on the imagination of players to eliminate their special targets.

Now, for those who already experienced the recent Hitman: Absolution and want to play the last few titles, Square Enix has confirmed on its blog that a special collection will be released soon, in the form of the Hitman HD Trilogy.

The pack includes remastered-in-high-definition versions of Hitman 2: Silent Assassin, Hitman: Contracts, and Hitman: Blood Money, and will appear for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 platforms.

The Hitman HD Trilogy is out in North America on January 29 and will appear across Europe and other PAL regions on February 1.

Until then, check out a few screenshots with the collection in the photo gallery below.
