Video game publisher Square Enix announces that its Montreal studio is currently working on a new Hitman GO title, which will use strategy mechanics and which is being set to be offered on both mobile devices and tablets.

At the same time, the company explains that it will soon offer more information on the AAA title that is being developed at IO Interactive in the same universe.

Square Enix explains in a blog post that, "You will strategically navigate fixed spaces on a grid to avoid enemies and take out your target or infiltrate well-guarded locations. You really have to think about each move and all the Hitman tools of the trade you would expect are included; disguises, distractions, sniper rifles and even 47’s iconic Silverballers."

The game is designed to offer a new take on the universe and will give fans a look at the future integrated vision for Hitman.
