Agent 47 will find a new contract waiting for him in Hitman: Absolution, for each of the platforms the game has been released on.

The PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of Hitman: Absolution have each had a new contract released, unique for each platform, as ShackNews reports.

The PC version will have players creeping around a haunted house, the Xbox 360 one will oversee a massacre in a doughnut shop and the PlayStation 3 mission will feature a pyromaniac ice cream vendor.

The game is more than a year old, and the content is unexpected but very much welcome. Hitman developer IO Interactive has stated its resolute focus on the Hitman franchise, as they are currently in the pre-production stage of a new triple-A entry to the series.

Square Enix have recently stated that the franchise is still on their development schedule, despite the recent cancellation of the project Square Enix Montreal was working on and the studio shifting focus toward the mobile market.
