The development team at Blizzard working on Heroes of the Storm, the new Multiplayer Online Battle Arena title, says that it is planning to soon launch the technical alpha of the title in both Europe and Asia, after it has been available for United States players for a few months.

The official announcement explains that, “Heroes of the Storm is still deep in development, and during the past few months we’ve introduced a variety of changes to the game, including an overhauled UI, new heroes, skins, and more, but we’re not done yet! We have a lot of plans in store, and we will continue to iterate and improve the game throughout the coming weeks and months ahead.”

Blizzard once more makes it clear that the technical alpha for Heroes of the Storm is designed to gather data about how the MOBA uses infrastructure in order to make sure that the final launch does not have any problems.

The studio is also thanking all those who have offered feedback so far and encourages those who will be added in the coming months to also check out the forums and offer an opinion on the title.

Heroes of the Storm does not yet have an official launch date and will have to compete with the already established DOTA 2 from Valve and League of Legends from Riot Games.
