The opening movie of the upcoming role-playing game Tales of Zestiria is now available online.

The game is coming out tomorrow on the PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system and is scheduled to reach western markets sometime later this year.

Bandai Namco has revealed that the storyline of Tales of Zestiria revolves around a prophecy, that a powerful figure will emerge at a time of great distress, in order to restore balance to the world.

The game follows a young man called Slay in his journey of self-discovery, as he fulfills his destiny and steps up to the challenge of saving the world.

The battle system revolves around specialized attacks, with human characters using more close-range attacks, while the angels dish out magical and long-range attacks from the back row.

This marks a difference from what players have come to expect from the long-standing series, incorporating more sword play and some magical abilities for more dynamism.

Another change from previous entries in the Tales series is the focus on open-world gameplay, in contrast to the linear approach of past games.

Tales of Zestiria is coming out tomorrow in Japan, exclusively for the PlayStation 3 home console from Sony. Localization has been confirmed, and the game is expected on western markets later this year.
