The development team at Blizzard announces that it will launch a the Curse of Naxxramas expansion for its Hearthstone card game at some point in July, but that an exact date is difficult to nail down at the moment because the company still has a lot of features to implement and bugs to eliminate from the new content.

The official comment from a community manager states, "With that said, we are also targeting to reveal pricing details regarding Curse of Naxxramas next week on July 1st, so please keep an eye out for that."

Hearthstone is playable for free, but gamers do have the option to use real-world money in order to enhance their experience, and presumably Blizzard will offer a simple payment system for Curse of Naxxramas but will also open a way of getting it using in-game currency.

The expansion will introduce a lot of new cards for gamers to try out and then slot into their decks, and leaks have already revealed some of them.

Blizzard might also be thinking about tweaking some of the included classes in order to make the entire experience more competitive in the long term.

Curse of Naxxramas is themed on a World of Warcraft raid that has become famous among gamers, and it's unclear whether future expansion for Hearthstone will continue to be based on other areas of the MMO.

UPDATE 30.06: Blizzard says on its official site that it will make no reveal about pricing tomorrow and that fans will have to wait as the company finalizes all the details about Curse of Naxxramas.
