The development team at Adhesive Games and publisher Meteor Entertainment announced a new content update for their multiplayer mech shooter Hawken, which introduces a new Raider unit for players to use, taunts and a server browser.

The Raider is designed to move in close to the enemy using its superior speed and then deliver damage in big bursts, using its Blitz ability, which increases movement pace and fire rate at the same time.

The weapons loadout includes:

ReFLAK-35 - Rapid-fire shotgun with ricochet flechettes T32-BOLT - Chargeable, quick-loading trinity shotgun Corsair-KLA - Dual-mode, MIRV/Grenade launcher

The Facility map is described as a favorite of the testing department at Adhesive Games.

Holo Taunts can be equipped on any Hawken mech set to appear in front of the player’s unit, and normal taunts are also available, with every mech getting one for free and another via an unlock.

The game also has a server browser, which the team says, “will allow you to easily join friends in battle or find a fight against players with similar skills ratings.”
