Sega has announced the launch of Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA f, available now on the PlayStation Store for the PlayStation Vita handheld entertainment system from Sony.

Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA f is an all-new rhythm video game made by Crypton Future Media, featuring selections from the most popular songs of famous digital singer Hatsune Miku. Players' skills will be thoroughly put to the test, tapping buttons to the beat of her wide variety of songs and following the catchy rhythms.

Players will also be able to create their own Miku videos in Edit Mode, complete with custom choreography and costumes, and also hang out with the Miku and her friends in the diva room.

Hatsune Miku will be going for $30 / €22, and players who already own the PlayStation 3 version will be pleased to find out that the PS Vita one has a whole new set of trophies, and that there is also cross-buy support for the game's two costume and one extra songs DLC packs, enhancing the overall experience and replay value of the game.

The DLC cross-buy promotion is available for both the Snow Miku 2013 and Extra Character Modules DLC, and players who already own them on the PlayStation 3 will get them for free once they purchase Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA f for the PlayStion Vita.

Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA f launched in North America on March 4, and will also be available in Europe starting March 12, as a digital download for the PlayStation Vita.
