The Halo: The Master Chief Collection website is routinely updated with new stuff, and the latest batch of screenshots shows exactly why any Halo fan (or non-fan for that matter) should get the upcoming remastered compilation.

The screenshots show the painstaking detail that all the classic levels in Halo 1 through 4 have been remade in full HD in order to offer a truly modern experience that's fit for the power of the Xbox One home console, enabling long-time gamers to relive some of their most exciting moments yet again, in a spruced-up incarnation.

In addition to faithfully recreating the Halo experience, complete with multiplayer, the first-person shooter compilation also packs in a ton of Halo 5: Guardians references for players to discover, as well as offering the chance to join the upcoming Halo 5 multiplayer beta test, scheduled to debut at the end of 2014.

The games run in 1080p resolution and at 60 frames per second, which made it impossible for the collection to be also offered on the Xbox 360, but there are rumors that it might make it to PC later on, possibly sometime during 2015.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection is scheduled to come out on November 11 in North America and November 14 in Europe, headed exclusively to the Xbox One computer entertainment system from Microsoft.
