14 DAY TRIAL // Video game developer 343 Industries is announcing that it is aiming to run a All-Star Halo 2 Classic Showdown event for Halo: The Master Chief Collection on Thursday, March 19, allowing a team of four of the best players from the fan community to battle a special team from the studio in a series of matches.
Gamers are at the moment able to vote for the players they want to see in action on the official Halo Waypoint site, and the action will be shown on both the Halo Channel and on Twitch at 4 PM Pacific Time.
Once the All-Star Halo 2 Classic Showdown is done, gamers will also be able to enjoy matches of 2 versus 2. Mason Cobb aka Neighbor and Michael Cavanaugh aka Strongside from 343 Industries will be selecting fans from Twitter and Twitch to join the action.
The event will include the following matches: Capture the Flag on Midship, Team Slayer on Beaver Creek, Team Ball on Lockout, Neutral Bomb Assault on Midship, and Team Slayer on Ivory Tower.
Currently, 343 Industries is working to deliver new content for Halo: The Master Chief Collection, including the ODST campaign and the Relic map from Halo 2.
