After rolling out the April update for Halo: The Master Chief Collection, developer 343 Industries confirms that things are progressing quite well on the Halo 3: ODST campaign project and the Relic multiplayer map remake, so fans can await both to join the game as part of a free update in May.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection launched last fall and brought forth a complete package that, like its name suggests, focuses on the Halo titles that featured Master Chief as a protagonist, i.e. Halo 1, 2, 3, and 4.

However, after plenty of feedback from fans, developer 343 Industries decided to start remastering Halo 3: ODST as well, which is promised to appear as an update for The Master Chief Collection, alongside other content, like a remake of the Relic multiplayer map.

Now, after some time, 343 Industries confirms on Halo Waypoint, that both projects are nearing completion and are on track to launch for Halo: The Master Chief Collection owners next month, as part of the May content update.

You can expect to hear more details about the Halo 3: ODST campaign and the Relic remake until then, but for now, you can enjoy some fresh screenshots depicting the new map and the classic game in the gallery below.
