A friendly reminder for all Halo fans: later today, December 29, the Halo 5: Guardians multiplayer beta stage is set to once again start on the Xbox One platform and is scheduled to last until January 18, 2015.

Halo fans were able to take a trip down memory lane back in November when Microsoft launched Halo: The Master Chief Collection on the Xbox One, and just a few weeks ago a special limited time multiplayer beta for the upcoming Halo 5: Guardians took place on the console.

Later today, December 29, at around 9am PST, the full Halo 5: Guardians multiplayer beta is set to roll out on the Xbox One for all owners of Halo: The Master Chief Collection.

The trial is set to last until January 18, 2015, but it's unclear if the different outages experienced by the Xbox Live service might factor into a possible extension of the online trial. Already, different games, such as Destiny or GTA 5, are extending their events due to the fact that players weren't able to go online on their consoles.

Even so, you can check out how long you have to wait until the beta appears on the Xbox Live marketplace by visiting this link, via Reddit. You can also admire a few screenshots and even a gameplay video from the previous multiplayer beta for Halo 5: Guardians below.
