14 DAY TRIAL // Video game publisher Microsoft and developer 343 Industries announce that Halo 4 is now the best-selling title in the history of the two companies on the United States market, managing to break the record set by its predecessor Halo 3.
The game has managed to perform better than expected during its launch year and it is still seeing strong sales linked to its multiplayer modes.
Recently, Microsoft and Virgin Gaming have announced that they are creating a Global Championship using Halo 4, which will have a total prize pool of 500,000 dollars (350,000 Euro).
At the moment, 343 Industries is working on a new title linked to the universe that will be delivered exclusively on the Xbox One and which was first teased during E3 2013.
It is supposed to star Master Chief but will apparently not be linked to the Forerunner story.
