A brand new report has appeared online, claiming that in fall of 2014 Microsoft will release Halo 2 Anniversary and it will bundle alongside it beta access for Halo 5, which launches in 2015.

Microsoft's Halo series saw the release of Halo 4 on the Xbox 360 back in 2012, and in 2013 the company started teasing Halo 5 on the Xbox One console.

Now, a brand new report has appeared on NeoGAF claiming that in 2014 Microsoft will release Halo 2 Anniversary on the Xbox One, a remastered edition of the original Halo 2 that appeared on the first Xbox many years ago.

The game will also come with beta access into Halo 5 which, according to the same report, is set to appear sometime in 2015.

The title will also run in a full HD 1080p resolution, but a 60fps framerate is still unconfirmed.

Bear in mind that these are just rumors, so take them with a grain of salt.
