For those gamers who are experiencing withdrawal symptoms after January 1, 2012, because of the termination of the holiday deals that digital distribution system Steam was offering, competitor Green Man Gaming is unveiling a special January sale that includes serious reductions for a number of high-profile titles, going up to 75 percent.

Those who are interested in some zombie action can pick up Dead Island for 19.49 dollars (14,94 Euro) while Thief 3, an older but still great game, can be picked up for 3.99 dollars (3.05 Euro).

Accessing the official website of Green Man Gaming will reveal a host of other video game offers.

Green Man Gaming does not have the same selection of games as the Valve maintained Steam, but it has a unique selling proposition: the ability of users to trade in the digital versions of their games and get credit that can then be bought to pick up more titles.
