Modding is one of the reasons why gaming on PC is great

If you like gaming on your PC, one of the likely reasons for it is the availability of free mods that add all kinds of things to your games, from bug fixes to brand new content.

Such is the case with Grand Theft Auto V, the latest entry in Rockstar Games’ wildly popular action adventure video game series, which is selling like hot cakes on Steam in spite of the fact that everyone already has it on consoles since 2013.

The game was launched in April, and people are already working on tweaking the base gameplay experience in various ways. One such alteration, created by intrepid modder TaazR, opens up every previously inaccessible interior in the game, without any loading times.

The mod adds fully functional doors to a ton of buildings, allowing you to step inside and wander around. The interiors are fully decorated and are even full of non-playable characters, in order to add to the experience.

You can find out more about the mod, how to install it and what additional files you need, on its thread on the GTA forums. You can also see it in action in the video below, showing you what you’re missing if you choose not to install it.
