Rockstar Games has confirmed that it's going to debut quite a lot of different add-ons for GTA 5, its popular open world action game, including DLC for the single-player story campaign, not just for the GTA Online multiplayer mode.

Grand Theft Auto 5 amazed tens of millions of PS3 and Xbox 360 owners worldwide and Rockstar has kept the experience relevant by releasing plenty of different updates that not only solved quite a lot of issues encountered in the GTA Online multiplayer mode, but also organized free events with special rewards for active players.

Now, Rockstar has talked a bit about its future DLC plans for the rest of the year on the Newswire, and confirmed that even more additions are coming to GTA 5 and its GTA Online mode, not to mention "some very exciting story mode DLC."

It's unclear just what the new single-player add-on might be, as Rockstar has had a pretty confusing track record when it came to such post-launch content. L.A. Noire received quite a few new cases for players to solve while Red Dead Redemption received the stellar Undead Nightmare expansion that completely changed the game.

Expect to hear more about GTA 5's upcoming DLC soon enough.
