Rockstar Games confirms that it will start offering the Grand Theft Auto 5 PC preload on April 7 through the Steam service and its Rockstar Warehouse. Exact timing is coming next week, so expect more details.

Grand Theft Auto 5 is finally closing in on its PC release, after having appeared way back in September of 2013 for PS3 and Xbox 360, and in November of 2014 for PS4 and Xbox One. After many delays, Rockstar is finally pleased with the quality of the PC adaptation of the new game and will debut it on April 14, worldwide.

As you can imagine, the game will occupy a lot of space, and for those with slow Internet connections, Rockstar confirms that the preload period for GTA 5 on PC begins on April 7.

According to the official support website, the game is going to be available for preload both through the Steam service and through Rockstar's own Warehouse. An exact timing isn't clear just yet, but fans should expect to get some official hours probably next week.

Grand Theft Auto 5 will release officially on April 14 for the PC platform worldwide, so you'll have enough time to preload the necessary files.
