In the midst of heavily promoting the PlayStation 4, Sony has revealed that it still cares about the current PlayStation 3 and mentioned that both Gran Turismo 6 and the next Assassin's Creed title, presumably Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag, will appear on the PS3.

The PlayStation 3 has been around for quite some time and Sony has already revealed a successor, in the form of the PS4, even if the company didn't actually show off its design.

While all of Sony's internal studios are working on PS4 projects right now, some upcoming titles will still appear on the PS3.

According to Sony Europe Senior Vice President, Michael Denny, both Gran Turismo 6 and the next Assassin's Creed title will appear on the PS3, alongside other confirmed games, like The Last of Us or Beyond: Two Souls.

Denny told Silicon Republic that the PS3 will still be around for some time and great games will continue to appear for it.
