Video game developer The Fullbright Company says that it is aiming to launch a new Commentary Mode downloadable content package for its title Gone Home soon, allowing fans to get more information about the experience.

Steve Gaynor, one of the co-founders of the studio, tells Rock, Paper, Shotgun that, “We don't have a date for it yet, but it'll be relatively soon. We're aiming for the short-term, and we've already recorded most of it.”

The mode will introduce icons that allow players to get more audio bits from the development team and other Easter Eggs related to Gone Home.

Gaynor says that Fullbright is creating the commentary in order to put some distance between the members of the team and the game.

They are already testing out ideas for their next experience.

Gone Home is one of the most critically applauded indie titles of the year.
