The creator of Godus Peter Molyneux takes after Markus Persson and says that gamers will have the opportunity to experience a new version of Godus.

It seems that what Markus Persson (a Kickstarter backer of Godus) did with Minecraft had a great impact on Molyneux. As such, he decided to have his god game evolve and close the mouths of all doubters.

His own words were “What I say to the doubters is, ‘Okay, you can doubt me for a week, [but] I’ll change it and your doubts are going to have to change’.”

Furthermore, he went on to say that “It probably takes us anything from a day to two weeks to make a new version [of Godus], and we'll address all the points out there. That's an amazing, incredible way to develop a game. I'm not a designer, I'm a design curator.”

The 54-year-old designer stated that he enjoyed responding to feedback and even showed spreadsheets stuffed with values, like how much an in-game follower wants to build temples.

Also, he made statements concerning how much 22 Cans has completely changed the rules of the game's multilayer in Steam Early Access, “We love the Early Access thing, we love that every week there's going to be radical changes to this game.”

Therefore, it seems that what will restore the faith of gamers will be the way in which Godus will evolve.
