The creators of Goat Simulator are apparently intent on dominating the world through their wacky ragdoll mammalian antics.
Coffee Stain Studios did it with their fantasy-themed expansion, poking fun at World of Warcraft. Then they tried to have their goat featured in Dota 2 as a courier. Now they're releasing yet another piece of DLC, GoatZ.
As you’ve probably already realized, the upcoming DLC is targeting the survival horror genre, with a slew of humorous features that most likely don't work the way you expected or at all, just like in all the other Early Access survival games.
The video does a good job of showing why GoatZ just had to exist, and its list of features includes zombies that bug out, a "mandatory crafting system because everyone else is doing it," and a very realistic survival mode where you have to eat pretty much all the time.
Goat Simulator is a single-player affair, so there won't be any of the cruel dehumanizing nonsense you can find in DayZ or Rust, but you'll be able to kill and torture plenty of non-playable characters, so it's okay.
The GoatZ DLC expansion will be released on May 7 on Steam, going for $5 / €5.
