The upcoming Lego Dimensions is probably the most exciting line of toy-to-life products, since you can use them with your already existing collection of Lego bricks.

The upcoming entertainment experience is set to merge interactive gameplay with physical Lego brick building, in a manner similar to how the Disney Infinity or Skylanders products function.

By now, we all know that actor Christopher Lloyd will play the role of the infamous Doc Brown in the Back to the Future themed content, and now we also get a look at the actual sets that will be released this fall.

Players will be able to customize their experience using additional packs from the previously announced brands, including DC Comics, Back to the Future and Ninjago sets.

You can see the character expansion packs, consisting of a Lego minifig and vehicle each, in the gallery below. From Aquaman, Batman, and Superman, to Doc Brown, Joker and Harley Quinn, as well as Lego's own Ninjago characters, Lloyd and Sensei Wu, there are a lot of choices for those interested in the game.

Lego Dimensions is coming out on September 27 in North America and September 29 in Europe, headed to the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 home consoles from Sony, the Xbox 360 and Xbox One home entertainment system from Microsoft, and the Nintendo Wii U.
