Jon Radoff, the chief executive officer and founder of Disruptor Beam, says that his team is working hard to improve the performance of the recently launched Game of Thrones Ascent in order to give playesr the smoothest game experience possible.

The developer tells Joystiq that Disruptor Beam has just added 30 new servers for the social game and will continue adding hardware as long as it’s required.

He states, “Performance looks fairly good at this point; according to our tracking stats, response time falls into the acceptable range 97% of the time.”

The nature of Game of Thrones Ascent, which relies on player-initiated missions and actions that take time to complete, means that the game should be available at all times in order to allow players to start adventures and manage their profile.

R.R. Martin, the creator of A Song of Ice and Fire, recently endorsed Game of Thrones Ascent.
