Video game developer Rockstar is announcing that it is planning to introduce an entirely new radio station for Grand Theft Auto V and that an album based on the music of the open-world title will also be launched on April 21.

Both will be created by The Alchemist & Oh No, who created the original score of the title.

They will work with a wide range of guests including: Earl Sweatshirt, Little Dragon, Phantogram, Freddie Gibbs, Popcaan, Killer Mike, Tunde Adebimpe and Samuel T. Herring from Future Islands.

The standalone album will be launched as a digital download but also at retail in both CD and vinyl releases.

The PC version of GTA V will also get an entirely new radio station, although it's unclear whether console versions of the title will also get the new musical content.

Rockstar is planning to launch the new Heists mode for the Online side of its game on March 10, which will also include a range of Player versus Player activities and other new events.

The PC version of the game will be introduced in April.

There are also suggestions that Rockstar plans to announce and launch a single-player expansion for GTA V this year.
