14 DAY TRIAL // Grand Theft Auto 5 is set to receive the Ill-Gotten Gains content update for its GTA Online multiplayer mode tomorrow, June 10. This weekend, a special event will be held with double GTA$ and double RP adventures for all participants.
GTA 5's multiplayer mode, GTA Online, continues to delight millions of players across PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One platforms, especially after the special heists were added back in March.
In order to give players new things to spend their virtual money on, Rockstar is bringing the Ill-Gotten Gains part 1 update tomorrow, June 10, across all platforms.
Now, it confirms on the Newswire that the weekend between June 12 and 14 will see a special event take place in honor of the patch.
Players will be able to participate in Adversary modes that give double GTA$ and in races that offer double RP. 25% discounts on high-end properties, as well as better drop rates for exclusive T-shirts are also included throughout the weekend.
A new Snapmatic contest is also going to take place emphasizing the new content included in the Ill-Gotten Gains update, from cars to clothes, guns, and more.
A special live stream will be organized by Rockstar on Twitch on June 12 at 5pm ET, so stay tuned for that as well.
