Respawn has confirmed, while talking about the new Titanfall game update #6, that a future patch, after the upcoming one, will bring the Wingman Last Titan Standing mode that was leaked earlier this week.

Titanfall is still enjoying quite a lot of popularity nowadays, despite being a multiplayer-only first-person shooter that appeared at the beginning of spring for PC, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.

Developer Respawn has worked hard to ensure that players have new content to devour, via two different DLC packs, as well as new features, via multiple updates.

Earlier today, Respawn detailed some of the new features from the upcoming Titanfall patch #6, but it's also confirmed on the official website that another future update is going to bring new game modes, among them being Wingman Last Titan Standing.

The special experience was leaked earlier this week by fans who dug through the game's files and uncovered mentions to the aforementioned mode, as well as to other ones like Capture the Titan or Elimination.

According to those files, Wingman Last Titan Standing is a 2-versus-2 Last Titan Standing variant in which two players in titans go up against two other people.

As of right now, Respawn is busy with game update #6 for Titanfall so don't expect the future patch to appear anytime soon.
