After releasing quite a few details about Fuse, developer Insomniac Games and publisher Electronic Arts have now revealed the actual artwork that will decorate the cover of the first-person shooter.

Fuse started off life as Overstrike, a first-person shooter made by Insomniac Games, the developer of highly successful franchises like Ratchet & Clank or Resistance.

Over the course of its development, however, Insomniac decided to operate a few big changes to the story and to the overall tone of the shooter, making it grittier and a bit more realistic, while keeping the story filled with its trademark humor.

As such, Fuse was born, a more intense squad-based shooter that allows players to wield all sorts of impressive weapons powered by an alien substance known only as Fuse.

After learning more about the game and admiring some impressive screenshots, Insomniac and EA have just showcased the boxart for the game, via AGB, which you can admire above and below.

As you can see, while we don't actually get to check out the faces of the four main characters, we do get to admire their Fuse-powered weapons.

Enjoy the artwork and get ready for the release of Fuse next year for PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.
