Video game developer Mode 7 and Double Eleven are now working together to port tactics-driven Frozen Synapse to the PlayStation 3 home consoles and the PlayStation Vita handheld, under the new Tactics name.

The game was first launched during 2011 and offers a unique experience, with players able to fight either humans or the computer using complex moves and a unique art style.

Paul Taylor, a co-founder Mode 7, states, “We have put our trust in Double Eleven to translate our original vision for a PlayStation audience; they have impressed us with their commitment to creating a completely new version for Sony's awesome hardware. We can't wait to see what they come up with.”

Double Eleven wants to tweak the main features of Frozen Synapse: Tactics in order to appeal to console gamers.

A launch date is planned for 2013.
