Origin is slowly becoming a really popular digital distribution service on the PC platform, as not only does it offer the entire Electronic Arts portfolio, but also is a host for a series of great deals every few weeks.
After closing its Black Friday offers and completing its Action Sale, Electronic Arts has just added a new title to the On The House program, through which it delivers periodically free games to all registered Origin users.
The new title added to the service is SimCity 2000 Special Edition, which can be yours for free once you visit its listing and add it to your game library, while being logged into Origin with your account.
SimCity 2000 delighted millions of gamers over the years with its top-notch city management mechanics and I'm sure plenty of people will want to take a walk down memory lane and revisit the experience, especially since it's available for the great price of free.
No word yet about the period in which SimCity 2000 Special Edition will be offered for free, but you might want to add it to your Origin game library sooner rather than later.
