14 DAY TRIAL // Microsoft has just announced that Xbox Live Gold members will get their second major title for Xbox 360, the highly acclaimed Halo 3, in October.
Even though Microsoft tries to compete with the PlayStation Plus program by offering Xbox Live Gold members two free games monthly, the quality of these titles are far behind Sony's offering.
Anyway, starting October 1 and through October 15, Xbox Live Gold members will be able to download Might & Magic Clash of Heroes for free as part of Games with Gold promotion. Halo 3 has been confirmed to be available for free download beginning October 16 and through October 31.
The first major game for Xbox 360 that was offered for free as part of this promotional program, Assassin's Creed 2, was available back in July. Other titles that Xbox Live Gold members were offered for free in the last couple of months include Dead Rising 2, Crackdown and more.
