Microsoft has confirmed that Xbox 360 owners with valid Xbox Live Gold subscriptions can now download for free Deadlight for the home console, as part of the Games with Gold program.

The Games with Gold offer has been improving in recent months in terms of quality, bringing Xbox 360 owners some much better and newer free games.

The company has already pledged to keep enhancing the program, and this month it's already delivered to Xbox 360 owners worldwide the impressive Hitman Absolution.

Now, for the rest of April, Xbox 360 users who have Xbox Live Gold subscriptions are able to download Deadlight, the cinematic 2.5D puzzle platformer, via Xbox Live.

The game, in case you forgot, focuses on a single protagonist, Randall Wayne, who must search for his family in a post-apocalyptic version of Seattle during the 1980s. With impressive visuals, plenty of interesting sequences, not to mention some rather imaginative platforming sections, Deadlight impressed when it first came out back in 2012 for the PC and Xbox 360 platforms.

For those who didn't get a chance to try it out on the Xbox 360 in all this time, the game is finally free to download and play until the end of the month. Expect a new title to replace it on May 1.
