Ex-L.A. Noire developers Alex Carlyle and Kelly Baigent announce that they are putting together a new studio called Intuitive Game Studios, looking to keep making video games in Australia.

Alex Carlyle, the leading designer, and Kelly Baigent, a story creator, have experience working on high-profile AAA titles, but they will now focus on smaller games.

Carlyle states via Facebook that “I really do want to stay in Australia and try and overcome the drive which is leading everyone to Canada or the like.”

He adds, “I want to stay here and make games and hopefully be able to sustain a small studio, provide employment and jobs here.”

Intuitive Game Studios has not yet announced any video game projects.

The development process for L.A. Noire was troubled and, despite its promise, the game failed to impress commercially.
