The development team at Sports Interactive and Sony are delivering a new video for the PlayStation Vita version of Football Manager 2014, which is designed to show gamers the way the 3D match engine of the title is running on the handheld.

The footage is pretty impressive and makes it clear that gamers can easily see all the important elements of the football sim on the screen of the mobile device.

The team explains that, “The possibility of running the match engine on a handheld was what drew us to PS Vita in the first place and although it took a lot of hard work, with programmers making what seems impossible possible, to make it happen, the results are clear.”

The PlayStation Vita version of Football Manager 2014 will be offered tomorrow and allows gamers to play the Classic game mode, which makes it easier to run through an entire league season in about one night.

The game comes with a cross-platform save feature, which means that a player can easily start a career on the PC and then continue it on the move.

A bundle with the PS Vita is also offered.

Sports Interactive has delivered a middle of the season update for Football Manager 2014 and the bulk of the resources of the company are currently oriented on the development of this year’s installment in the long-running series.
