The development team at Sports Interactive has identified a number of issues with the in-game purchase mechanics in the recently launched Football Manager 2013 and is currently working to remedy it as quickly as possible.

The official Twitter message from the developer states: “We are aware of an issue for some people affecting FM13 in-game purchases. We are looking into it and apologies for any inconvenience.”

In-game purchases were integrated into the Football Manager series with this year’s version and gives players a chance to get access to more challenges if they get bored with the core game.

The new title in the long-running series is designed to introduce a new Classic mode that makes games progress faster and since launch, Sports Interactive has also released a number of significant updates.
