Sony has just confirmed that it's going to launch Flow, the critically acclaimed indie game that came out for PS3 some time ago, onto the PS4 and PS Vita today, December 17, in North America at least.

Flow, together with Flower and Journey, were three great independent titles made by studio Thatgamecompany for the PS3.

In honor of their popularity, Sony decided to bring the experiences onto other platforms, like the PS4 or PS Vita.

Flower is already available on those platforms and Flow will make its debut today, December 17, on the PS Vita and PS4.

The porting process was accomplished by SuperVillain Studios under the leadership of Sony Santa Monica, according to the PS blog.

The standard game will cost $5.99 (€4.36), while its DLC is priced at $1.99 (€1.45). The title is Cross-Buy enabled, meaning those who own it on PS3 receive the new versions for free, while those who've yet to get it will receive all of them.

As of yet, European pricing or release dates haven't been shared by Sony.
