Dong Nguyen, the creator of Flappy Bird, has suggested that he might be getting ready to relaunch the game, but that he will also be adding a new warning to the title meant to explain that it has addictive qualities, while encouraging players to take breaks from it.

It's unclear whether the developer plans to automatically pause the game at certain intervals in order to make sure that his fans to not become hooked on the game or if he simply wants to add a suggestion, according to VG247.

When Flappy Bird first took off, the App Store Nguyen explained that he was not happy with the effect that the game had and that he was no longer willing to deal with the abuse coming from a small section of the player community.

The game was reported to be generating more than 50,000 dollars (37,500 Euro) in revenue per day for the developer, even if the advertising presence inside it was minimal.

Nguyen has not said when Flappy Bird might be offered to gamers once more or if he has plans to bring it to new platforms.

Since the game was taken down, a number of copycats have appeared and a developer has even created a Flappy Bird themed MMO.
